Mitch was competing for 1st place in the open pax class (senior drivers) and was able to pull it out on the final run. He HADto end up in first place to beat James Yip, as James had more points than him going into this event. James put in a very fast 3rd run but it wasn't enough to take it away from Mitch. The girls and I were a bit slow moving this morning so we showed up JUST in time to see his third and fastest (and winning ) run. It was a good day :) I suspect he'll be on cloud nine for a bit!
