Thanks to some very early morning flights on the 24th and 1st, we made the decision to go to Calgary rather than stay in Coquitlam this year. By setting our alarms at 4 am we were able to save about $2000, so it was worth it! We spent eight days bunked in at the Burton's house and enjoyed lots of visiting with family and friends. We probably saw Barbara, Christopher and Michael more on this trip than we have in the past few years! As to be expected there was lots of eating (not so much in the way of exercise) and lots of late nights! Now that we are home, its going to take some effort to get back into routine. All in all it was a wonderful break away and we are feeling fairly rested .... almost ready to go back to work on Monday ... almost ...
