Finally we have decided on the tile and carpet. It took us a bit longer to put it together but in the end its nice that we both agree. Unfortunately the tile we chose only comes in 13 inch squares so my fancy basketweave pattern is no longer possible .... oh well ... maybe we'll make use of some of the mosaic 2 inch blocks to do something interesting on the floor. Now all thats left is the countertop and we've opted for a solid black with white sinks. I wasn't a huge fan before of the black but with the lighter tiles on the floor, I'm ok with this choice. Things are starting to come together!
