Saying goodby to the Olympics

For someone who wasn't especially excited about the Olympic, now I look back with very fond memories. It was definitely an unforgettable experience - all the show of patriotism was incredibly heartwarming and I think that Vancouverites have been forever changed by it. The theme song was heard hundreds of times a day but I have yet to become tired of it ... I still tear up with emotion when I hear it. I loved the "Symphony of Fire" that was the '88 olympic theme song but I really don't remember responding so emotionally to it.
