Tessa's individual project for Challenge this year was to design and build a house. She quite enjoyed the creating (using an online floor planner), and it was quite elaborate with all of the pieces of furniture in there too! Of course with a week to go she realized that it had to be built too!! So for three solid nights she stayed up a bit later than normal to work on the creation. Beware of putting a 10 year old in charge of the glue gun :) In the end she was quite pleased with the project - though the gluing on of all of the doors and windows gave her the hint that she designed in WAY too many windows with most of them on the 3rd floor! I sure hope those are the expensive windows that can swing around so that they can be washed from the inside!
Tomorrow is her presentation and everything was completed just in time! Next time we'll have to encourage her to get started a wee bit sooner :)
