I have had this particular hydrangea bush in my garden for years and it was only today while I was cutting off some of the spent flowers that I saw these wee blue flowers! They were so beautiful with their delicate blue petals - I spent at least 10 minutes admiring them. I wonder, have they been there all this time? Have I been discarding them into the compost this whole time figuring the flowers were past their prime, when in actual fact there were these beauties among the wilting petals? In my need to get the gardening job off the list of things to do I have been blind to what was right in front of me :( So what else have I been missing as I move through the minutes and days of my life??
