With all the discussion at school about individual's carbon footprint - Alexandra was quite excited about participating in the World's earth hour. The girls spent most of the time writing stories while Mitch and I played to games of crib (and I'm happy to report that I won both!) Not sure if they really understood what the point was ... especially when there was the rush to blow out the candles and turn the lights back on when the hour was up. I guess next time Mitch and I should be talking to them about why we are doing this rather than have an ultra-competitive game of crib :)
